This film is going to be a lot of fun to make. Everybody was hands on with making this next film. Me and my cousins worked on the script together, and it’ll be a continuation of the first film we made. In the sequel we are from more modern times like 2005, 2010, and 2016. We will be incorporating more of what happened this year and will be connected with the first movie. We’re also using our real names in the film to make it easier for us. This film is a bit of a new story but is also a continuation of the first film. This film focuses more on this year's events rather than more on how the characters are connected. It shows how things could be prevented and helped. The title for the next film in The Modern ladies of History series is Into The Future . This is my storyboard to this film. This film is going to utilize more locations, outfit changes, and I think it will turn out much better than the first one. Here is the description that we came up with for this film: The film tak...

Introduction: This weeks blog post is about Christmas movies since this is our last blog post of this year. Christmas movies always make the season better. There are so many iconic Christmas movies that are watched during this season. Its tradition for most families to watch Christmas movie (who celebrate it). Christmas movies are fun ways to get in the mood for Christmas time and spread Christmas cheer. Christmas movies are films that engage with Christmas in multiple ways. Normally, they’re set during Christmas, show a great deal of Christmas iconography (Christmas trees, Santa, etc), play at least one Christmas song, and implement at least one Christmas movie trope–usually dysfunctional families or returning home for Christmas. A few of the most-debated movies in this category are Die Hard (as the title suggests), Love Actually , It’s a Wonderful Life , and Gremlins . Inspiration: I decided to list some Christmas movies, their directors and writers: Elf- was directed by Jo...

Introduction: This week’s blog post is about found footage films. Found footage films are very unique films and use a lot of creativity. A lot of the time found footage films are made to look like there real footage rather then actors. Mostly found footage is used for horror films and say that the footage is from the victims are from some sort of attack or disappearance. These films could be any kind of stories. Its also really amazing that a lot of the time the actors have to improvise and they have to carry the whole film since they have to make most of the connect themselves. Found footage films are really incredible and fun. I actually made a found footage film in film in film 2 (I think it was film 2). Inspiration: Here are some found footage films that I've watched or found that looked interesting: Paranormal Activity Movies The Rec Series Unfriended 1+2 The Blair Witch Movies Megan is Missing Grave Encounters 1+2 Quarantine 1+2 There's definitely a wide selection of...

Introduction: This weeks blog post is about tv shows as an extension of films. Sometimes our favorite movies series get remade but other become tv shows. This happens to a lot of famous series since fans want to see more of the series, and a tv show can give fans more content. Tv shows can also help give more characters more screen time or backstories to certain events in the movies. Or an extension of the films to tell more of the story from the last movie in the series. Or a movie or movies that was supposed to be a series being made into a tv series. Tv series are a way to tell a story with more then just one video, but many to bring more connect to viewers.  Inspirations: I looked up movies that are being made into tv shows ( 52 Movies Being Adapted For TV Right Now ) here are some I know of from the list: The Illusionist Friday the 13th Divergent Metropolis The Lord of The Rings The Mighty Ducks Chucky Here are some tv shows that have already been made from movies like: "Ma...

The making of this film was an adventure. I filmed and edited this film twice. The first time we filmed my cousins did not follow the script and it ended up being a disaster since the whole film put together was confusing. The second time around however made more sense and the script was used this time. The final film is about three girls from different decades end up in the future. The cast is me and my cousins Mikayla and Natalie. The film features the 20s, 80s and the 2000s. We did our best with making the costumes historically accurate, and what in reality a person would wear when traveling to the future. Overall do really like this film and I enjoyed making it. There are a few thing I would change though. If I film with my cousins again, and I probably will, they have to use the script and cant mess up almost every take. A lot pf takes where just them messing up and not taking it seriously. Although we where able to get to a final film is is sometimes difficult for them since ...
