After looking at and hearing them talk about their work for the first marking period, I've defiantly been inspired by my classmates and their ideas and film techniques. The first person that really inspired me was Aaron's work for the first marking period. I really liked how he had a set idea right away of what he was going to do and I feel like his theme was a good choice for what he made. The way that he shot and edited his films was a really unique and also a fun experience to watch and interpret. I thinks it’s also really cool how he decided to make a music video instead of a film. Even though it wasn't a film we could still he how he interpreted his theme in his music video. I've learned that its fun to have your own way of editing and interpreting a theme and that will definitely be a thing that I will incorporate and have fun with. This filming experience I think was much better to film than the first film. This is the last week to film and that is when we are filming. Not exactly the most convenient but we did pretty good. I did have to change the script a few times since my cousin Natalie won’t film in public at all, so then I’ve had to change some things around. The costumes are also in place, and I always remind them to make sure they know what is going on in the script. I've learned that making films with my cousins is that one of them or on board or the other isn’t. This film my cousin Natalie was more on board than Mikayla, and it was the opposite of the first film. This film is the sequel to the first film we made. It focuses more on the historical element rather than the magical, mysterious elements. I think it has more of a balance between the two.   Intention Definition & Exploration of Ideas: For this year I decided to work on the genre of history in film (stories and histories). I've always been interested in history and I thought it would be fun to create my own version of history, with current events, or the mysteries of time traveling through history. The first film I made sets up a timeline for these films, showing us time travel exists and can take us different places in historical events. The second film will focus more on the events that have happened in 2020 and a universe where covid could possibly be prevented along with other events. I tied in different areas of history  by having each of us be from different decades and dress like that time, that is the best we could do to make it historically accurate. I was from the 20s and I wore the dress I could find that was the most historically accurate along with the rest of my costume. My cousin Mikayla, was from the 80s and that was a bit more easier to sty...
