  I think this experience with creating a film Study was a good idea for me to do. It was just easier on me, especially with the musical. I thought it was easier since I just had to gather a lot of clips, do research, and then do a voice-over. As of this moment, I only have to do my voice over and then I will be done. I am worried that for a few of the genres I didn’t have enough clips, but if I do I will gather some more examples. I finished editing and the final film is really good, some of the voiceovers don’t exactly sound the best, but I did my best. I think it turned out really good for my first ever film study. I think it was the best thing to do for my last project because of the musical. I really did like finding all the clips since some of these musicals I had never heard of before.   Introduction: This week’s blog post is about the use of special effects makeup in films. I’ve always been interested in special effects makeup for movies and also creatures, anything created from special effects. A show that we used to watch a lot at my dad’s house was called Face-Off where artists would create things using special effects. It was such a cool show and I loved seeing how these things were made. Also the show Jim Henson Creature Shop was amazing. I like a lot of things like that creating things like classic horror creatures to out-of-this-world things. I know that I have talked about special effects before and claymation, but the makeup for movies is another thing that added to movies.
