Select Your Genre

My genre choice is crime because has to do with problem solving and mystery. Since my presentation was crime I already have a background for crime films and what is included in the crime genre. I've read a lot of mystery books especially when I was a kid so looking for inspiration is pretty simple to find. I have a whole pile of crime/mystery books for reference. My position would be providing ideas and script ideas. With crime you could look and solved and unsolved cases and also cold cases. The genre I most prefer is crime. I’m drawn to this genre because I like to watch documentary’s and I like to look at different cassava over the years and come up with my own theory’s or ideas. They make me curious about how the case could have gone and what could be done to solve the case. The crime genre I think appeals to my sense of mystery and observing what is going on in the case. The main director that made a few crime films was Alfred Hitchcock and one of the films I think of when I hear his name is a lady vanishes and that is solving the mystery of where an old lady disappeared to on the train ride. The crime genre is something you don’t really see a whole lot anymore and I wanted to make a short film on it and make something like a murder mystery, because who doesn’t like a good murder mystery game like clue. Overall, the crime genre is truly a interesting genre, it could be based of a true crime or a murder mystery etc.
