Critique Reflection Blog Post - Avant Garde Film 4/1/19

What can I improve?:

I can improve my use of the camera, I feel like I used the same techniques over and over again and could probably chance things up more and make it more creative. Something I can also improve on is editing I have approved more but I want to try and do more things. I could also approve in my filming techniques, I don't think my shaking and moving around of the camera received not the feedback I was hoping for, next time i'll add the shaking later in editing. I feel like the order of the clips seemed a bit confusing, maybe next time I could always add little segments to show that time has passed in between the shots.

What are my strengths and how can I make them even better?:

My strengths I feel are acting in the films, i've been in many musicals and classes that i've learned more techniques to use in films. There is always room to improve on acting skills even the greatest actors still learn something new everyday. Another thing is directing, the montage film was the first film I directed and I felt like it went well and we where all committed and prepared and ready to go. Something that I could do to make it better is to make sure everyone is involved because making a film sometimes makes people bored and films are supposed to be fun and interesting, I feel like our film was a little dull but there is always ways to improve.
